Brian Newman is an extraordinary trumpet player and he also happens to be the band-leader for international pop superstar Lady Gaga.

When building out his first release for Verve we decided to surround him with cars, tattoos and trumpets - a few of the visual cornerstones of this musician’s unique and talented persona.
Tire treads and rough-hewn type brought a necessary grit to what’s otherwise a traditional Verve layout.
