CHARLIE’S ANGELS
OFFICAL SOUNDTRACK

LP • CD • CASSETTE ︎ FOR REPUBLIC RECORDS

What does Charlie’s Angels mean in 2019? Does the world require another reboot of this famed franchise?

These are valid questions, but they all faded out of focus in the face of the legion of fans who lined up to hear the collaboration between Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Ray for this albums lead single “Don’t Call Me Angel”.
A true blockbuster, I was honored to create the artwork and packaging for the various configurations of both the single and the Official Soundtrack.

︎︎︎ A QUICK WORD ON CONFIGURATIONS
When a potential blockbuster like this film roles around, and the soundtrack has such big names attached. You tend to find all available formats or “configurations” get their time in the light, no matter how novel or obsolete they may seem.
In the case of Charlie’s Angels that meant a Picture disc, an LP,  a CD and of course a cassette version for both the complete soundtrack and the breakout single. I’m not sure how wide the cross section of cassette deck owners and Charlie’s Angel reboot fans is, but I assure you - I am in the middle of it.

︎︎︎ THREE SUPERSTARS ONE SINGLE
Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey - three of the biggest, most inescapable names in pop music today. All three joined forces to create the lead track for this soundtrack.
It’s powerful it’s catchy and thanks to the efforts of myself and CD Ryan it looks pretty darn sharp.
