Wei Luo has been playing piano since she was 4 years old in her native Shenzen and by 10 she was onstage with the Shanghai Philharmonic. Years more of accomplishments eventually lead up to her self-titled debut with Decca Gold. 
A selection of pieces from the Russian masters and their strong historical leanings urged me to produce an abstraction for the cover which paid tribute to  fractured materials and beautiful fissures that the compositions elicit. Minimalist grid-work brought an elegance to the package that elevated the design to meet Wei’s beautiful performances.
